Black Terminal Consulting ("BTC," "we," "us," "our") provides website design, hosting, and related services to small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services or visit our sites at demos.blackterminalconsulting.com.

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Contact forms: Your name, phone number, email address, and message when you submit a contact or support request.
• Payment information: When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. BTC never sees or stores your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Business information: Your business name, address, hours, photos, and other content you provide for us to build your website.

We also collect limited technical data automatically:

• IP address and browser type (standard web server logs)
• Pages visited and time spent (if analytics are enabled on your site)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To build, host, and maintain your website
• To respond to your support and contact requests
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send you service-related communications (billing notices, update confirmations)
• To improve our services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our business:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Resend — transactional email delivery (contact form notifications, auto-replies)
• Google Places API — used internally to identify businesses that may benefit from our services. No customer data is sent to Google.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you wish to reactivate, then delete it. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption on all our sites. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify active clients by email before material changes take effect.
